What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis works by getting the logical analytical conscious mind out of the way, so that helpful suggestions can be given to the subconscious.  Your conscious mind is where you reason and analyse.  The subconscious mind is where memories, emotions and habits are stored.  This is why a conscious decision to make a change can sometimes be inadequate, as the subconscious mind will continue the old pattern.  In hypnosis the subconscious mind is more receptive to helpful suggestions.

The experience of being in a hypnotic trance is one that is unique to each individual.  But, hypnosis is a pleasant and relaxing experience.  It is a great way to clear the body and the mind of accumulated stress.
